Bridgemate II

The update consists of the following parts

Preparations

Make sure your computer is switched on and that all programs are closed.

Download the following files and save them on your computer:
All update files are independent of region or language.

After the update files (3 files in total) have been downloaded successfully, you can start with the update procedure. You are advised to follow the sequence as described below:

Step 1: update Bridgemate Control Software v2.6.1

  1. Start Windows Explorer, go to the folder where you stored the files.
  2. At the install folder selection screen browse to the folder where Bridgemate Control Software was previously installed. Click Next to start the update procedure. Click yes to install tyhe (new) driver. It should ask to overwrite the previous BridgematePro-file.

Step 3: update Bridgemate Pro server v1.3.107

  1. Start Windows Explorer, go to the folder where you stored the files and double click on "usbs13107d.exe" (depending on your computer settings, the extension .exe may not be visible). The server update program will now start.
  2. You can choose a language in which you want the instructions to be displayed.
  3. After choosing the language, click Next.
  4. Make sure the server is connected as instructed above, and press Next again.
  5. The server will now be reprogrammed. Wait for the program to be finished.
  6. After the server has been successfully reprogrammed, press Next again to exit the program.
  7. Verify that in upper left frame firmware version 1.3.107d is shown.

Step 3: Update of Bridgemate firmware v1.6.1

  1. Make sure Bridgemate Control Software is running.
  2. Go to menu Tools --> Bridgemate --> Bridgemate II update firmware.
  3. Press OK. The firmware update screen now appears.
  4. Press "Choose firmware file".
  5. Browse to the folder where you stored the files, select the Bridgemate firmware file (e.g BM2_EN_1-6-1.BM2) and press "Open". The file should now appear behind the text "Path".
  6. Click Transmit firmware. The firmware will now be installed on the server.
  7. Tick Continious transmit and Click Transmit firmware
  8. Take all the Bridgemates you want to update, activate it by pressing the OK button, select Setp Up, enter the PIN code (749), click Info, select Update and press OK.
  9. Wait for the progress indicator to reach 100%.
  10. The Bridgemate will switch off automatically.
  11. Press OK on the Bridgemate, you should see the text "v1.6.1". The Bridgemate has now successfully been reprogrammed to version 1.6.1.
  12. Repeat steps 8 to 11 for all other Bridgemates. You can upgrade all Bridgemates at the same time. If in Bridgemate Control Software stops after a number of times, click Transmit firmware again. When all Bridgemates are updates, click on Stop transmition.
In case reprogramming firmware is interrupted, Bridgemate Control Software will show a message that writing the firmware failed. In such a case, reactivate the Bridgemate and press OK to restart the firmware writing process.

After successfully performing all three updates, you can start using the Bridgemate II system.
